Senior Application Security Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to join their team. If you have expertise in SAST, DAST, DevSecOps, and secure coding, this is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge security initiatives!

• Role: Application Security Specialist (Contractor)
• Location: On-site
• Experience: 10-12 years
• Education: Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Science, or related field
• Certifications (Mandatory): OSCP and/or OSWA (OSWE preferred) | Highly desirable: CISSP

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Static & Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST & DAST) using tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, Snyk, and BurpSuite Pro
• Implement Software Composition Analysis (SCA) for third-party dependencies
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines & DevSecOps workflows
• Embed shift-left security and enforce best practices in secure coding
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams
• Secure applications written in Python and Node.js
• Assist in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
