Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering simulation solutions provider in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer LSDYNA to provide presales technical support, training, and consulting for projects involving blast effects, explosion simulations, and structural response analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LSDYNA's explicit dynamics capabilities and a strong ability to help customers optimize their engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide presales and postsales technical support to customers using LSDYNA for blast and explosion modeling.
Conduct technical training sessions on LSDYNA for explosive analysis covering blast effects, fragmentation, and shock waves.
Develop and present demonstration cases, case studies, and technical presentations to showcase LSDYNA's capabilities.
Collaborate with sales teams to align LSDYNA solutions with customer needs.
Build and validate finite element models for blast simulations including material modeling and boundary conditions.
Analyze customer requirements, propose simulation methods, and deliver tailored solutions.
Stay updated on industry standards for explosive modeling and blast-resistant design.
Provide expertise in mesh generation, material properties, and boundary conditions for blast scenarios.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to support software adoption and contract renewals.
Willing to travel up to 30% within the region for client support and project execution.
Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural dynamics or blast modeling, with at least 4 years specializing in LSDYNA for explicit dynamics and explosion simulations.
Expertise in blast modeling, shock waves, structural response, and material damage under high strain rates.
Certification or formal LSDYNA training from Dynamore.
Strong knowledge of ALE/S-ALE solvers, FSI coupling, SPH, and/or DEM solvers.
Experience in advanced material modeling (concrete, steel, composites) under extreme conditions.
Familiarity with blast-resistant design standards such as UFC, ISO, and ASTM.
Proficiency in ANSA, HyperMesh, Animator, or similar pre-/post-processing tools.
Industry or consulting experience in defense, construction, or infrastructure is preferred.
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a logical problem-solving approach.
