Job summary

F-Technologies LLC, a Dubai-based tech company, seeks an experienced Android Engineer to own the real-time layer of our mobile apps across business, news and social products. You will architect and ship high-performance Kotlin apps with Jetpack Compose, ensuring instant messaging, live feeds, and reliable notifications end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development with production apps on Google Play.
• Hands-on experience with real-time features such as instant messaging and live feeds.
• Expert Kotlin, Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/ Clean Architecture, Hilt/Dagger.
• Experience with real-time protocols like XMPP or WebSocket.
• Deep understanding of Android background execution and notification delivery.
• Unit and UI testing, Git, and code-review practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance Android apps in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose.
• Build real-time layer: WebSocket/XMPP connections, message ordering and delivery.
• Implement offline-first storage with Room/SQLDelight and Coroutines.
• Ensure reliability under Doze and optimize for low-end devices.
• Collaborate with backend/iOS/QA and manage Google Play releases and CI/CD.
• Apply security best practices and data protection.
