Job summary

METAMORF Info Tech FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Android developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You will design map-based features, optimize performance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of Android experience, strong map APIs knowledge (Google Maps/Mapbox), and a solid grasp of MVVM, REST, and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience building map-based Android apps (Google Maps, Mapbox).
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and MVVM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Android apps using Kotlin.
• Build and optimize map-based features like location tracking and routing.
• Follow Clean Architecture for scalable, maintainable, testable code.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver features.
• Write clean, reusable and well-documented code.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
• Ensure app performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development standards.
