Job summary

F-Technologies LLC in Dubai is seeking a senior mobile engineer to own the real-time stack for iOS and Android, ensuring instant messaging, live feeds, presence, and resilient data handling. You may work natively or with a cross-platform stack, and you will shape the real-time architecture while delivering a native feel on each platform.

You will implement the connection layer, offline-first sync, and notifications, while driving performance, security, and robust CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mobile development with apps shipped to App Store and Google Play.
• Strong depth in native iOS (Swift) and native Android (Kotlin); or senior cross-platform with native modules.
• Hands-on experience with real-time features: messaging, live feeds, presence.
• Working knowledge of real-time protocols (WebSocket, XMPP).
• Offline-first data, push notifications, background execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile architecture for iOS and Android and the shared real-time core.
• Build the connection layer (WebSocket / XMPP): ordering, delivery, read receipts, presence.
• Deliver offline-first storage and sync on both platforms.
• Implement notifications (APNs, FCM) and background tasks.
• Write native code where cross-platform falls short; drive performance and security.
• Ship to stores, run CI/CD, mentor developers, review code.
