Client of Salt in Dubai is seeking a Mobile Software Development Engineer III to build robust Android applications powering key customer journeys. You will work with product, design and backend teams to deliver seamless experiences while mentoring juniors and influencing architecture decisions.

We value 4–6 years of Android experience, strong Kotlin skills, and familiarity with Firebase and CI/CD. The role requires collaboration in an agile environment and a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android; iOS experience is a plus.
• Experience with offline-first design, caching and sync.
• Familiarity with Firebase Crashlytics Analytics and monitoring tools.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end development of Android features using Kotlin.
• Contribute to mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated tests and monitoring.
• Drive performance improvements and crash‑free sessions.
• Collaborate with backend, product and design teams; participate in sprint events.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
