Job summary

Analog is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You’ll design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications across devices, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features and ensure high performance and quality.

The ideal candidate has strong Kotlin/Java skills, a solid Android Studio background, and experience connecting apps to RESTful backends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps on Google Play.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications for a variety of devices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and deliver features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other app-related problems.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Collaborate in architecture and implementation of new app features and services.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews to improve coding standards.
