Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a strong understanding of Android platforms, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications for various devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement new features.
• Ensure applications are performant, high-quality, and responsive.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other app-related problems.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Explore and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of new app features and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a collaborative coding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a portfolio of apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and the platform.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and Android guidelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Espresso and JUnit.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jetpack libraries (Navigation, LiveData, Room, etc.).
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, and cloud messaging.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with multi-threading and background processing.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
