Job summary

METAMORF Info Tech FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Android developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You will design map-based features, optimize performance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of Android experience, strong map APIs knowledge (Google Maps/Mapbox), and a solid grasp of MVVM, REST, and testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6+ years of experience in Android application development Strong proficiency in Kotlin & Jetpack Compose Proven experience in developing map-based Android applications (Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar) Good understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and separation of concerns Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.) Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration Experience with third-party libraries and SDKs Familiarity with Git or other version control systems Experience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin) Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow Experience with unit testing and UI testing Understanding of app performance optimization and security best practices Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform
