Job summary

Anotech is seeking a senior Android engineer to design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Android applications in Kotlin. You will implement map-based features, adhere to Clean Architecture and MVVM, and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Candidates should have strong experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and map APIs, plus a solid background in testing, performance optimization, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin & Jetpack Compose.
• Proven experience in developing map-based Android applications (Google Maps/Mapbox).
• Good understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and separation of concerns.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
• Experience with third-party libraries and SDKs.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin).
• Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing.
• Understanding of app performance optimization and security best practices.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform
• Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform

Responsibilities

The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions, including map-based features, while following modern development practices such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, automated testing, and continuous improvement.
