About the Job :

The role involves supervising and reviewing the study, analysis, design, implementation, and monitoring of new financial systems, as well as customizing existing systems. Coordination with users and developers is essential to maximize operational efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervise and ensure the timely migration of operational data across all ERP Systems interfaced with ADNOC's Financial Systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform data analysis and reconciliation between ERP Modules within the Financial System.
  • Act as the focal point for project teams overseeing development, testing, implementation, and Post Implementation Review (PIR) of system initiatives.
  • Conduct complex analyses related to business applications, liaising with IT and vendor support, and develop procedures and user guides to facilitate system operation.
  • Oversee and resolve interface issues between Financial and other ERP Systems.
  • Maintain data reliability, integrity, internal controls, and audit trails in line with accounting and auditing standards.
  • Provide frontline support to financial system end-users, escalating unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Control and standardize the Chart of Accounts, ensuring compliance with IAS and GASC policy to prevent discrepancies and errors.
  • Monitor and ensure proper financial month-end and year-end closings, verifying master data such as Exchange Rates and COA.
  • Participate in testing and verification for software releases, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Develop and update training plans and manuals in coordination with Learning & Development to keep users proficient in financial systems.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with formal training in ERP implementation.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, including implementing financial systems in large, complex organizations.
