The jobholder is responsible for providing specialized expertise in business analysis and process support for all system functions, including SAP and Non-SAP applications, to achieve system automation for Borouge ADP and Pte. This role involves system support for computerized maintenance management systems, asset performance management, content management solutions, planning and scheduling systems, and other custom applications and interfaces. The job also includes contributing to and coordinating application projects for process automation, reporting, developing performance matrices, and supporting the implementation of policies and procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Process Automation & Projects
- Conduct studies to support automation of function processes, including economic feasibility and comprehensive testing studies for SAP and non-SAP systems, providing recommendations accordingly.
- Analyze user requirements from various functional areas to evaluate necessary updates based on existing system features.
- Plan, prioritize, and organize projects aligned with the business plan, coordinating with IT to ensure timely implementation of updates.
- Supervise new project implementations until completion and user satisfaction, ensuring projects align with company scope and priorities.
- Develop project charters for new initiatives, defining objectives, budgets, and resource allocation.
Process Integration & Optimization
- Assess system change needs and study implications on related modules and systems.
- Participate in major IT projects related to company strategy, such as master data management, SOD, GRC, security, and disaster recovery.
- Supervise system updates to meet testing criteria and develop workflows for master data management, maintaining data standards.
- Manage application access, user authorities, and system security to meet information requirements and support future business plans.
- Provide system support and troubleshooting for SAP and Non-SAP applications, ensuring continuous operation.
- Generate quality reports for audits, collaborate with users to resolve issues, and propose process improvements.
- Train and coach system users regularly to maximize system utilization.
- Monitor system user performance and report workload and issues to management.
- Track and resolve post-implementation problems.
Business Process Management
- Conduct investigations to develop new functions and explore market applications to enhance company operations.
- Review and approve procedures and manuals for SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring proper implementation and continuous improvement, including backup procedures.
- Identify issues and opportunities for system improvements and propose solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Degree in Management Information Systems or related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- At least 5 years of total experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a Business Information Systems Specialist or IT System Analyst.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the petrochemicals, oil, and gas industry.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of Policies and Procedures, DOA, and Process Flowcharts.
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow, ASAP, VBA is advantageous.
- Understanding of business processes and applications.
- Ability to develop and deliver training sessions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships and knowledge of IT best practices.
- Project management knowledge is a plus.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in IT companies is preferred.
- Understanding of process concepts.
Professional Certifications
- ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc., and certifications like Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Certified, MySQL, VBA Applications are advantageous.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
