Job Purpose:
Support Chief of Staff Team of Mashreq’s CIBG business in the following areas:
- Execution of all aspects of the Business’s Strategy
- Tracking & Monitoring of execution of all aspects of the Business Strategy
Key Result Areas:
- Support business with executing key strategic initiatives, such as those relating to driving Revenue Growth, Product Penetration, Capital Efficiency & Platform Digitisation (eg: Client Planning, Pipelines, KPIs, Capital Committees, Platform Automation)
- Support business with strategy materials, for business updates and events such as Townhalls, Offsites and other management presentations
- Support business with planning and executing Internal Recognition Events (eg: Deal Awards)
- Support business with External Awards submissions management (eg: Industry Awards)
- Support business in designing and tracking business execution against financial targets and strategic initiatives, as well in tracking and monitoring MIS such as KPIs & other Metrics for various business and product units
- Work closely with business partners (eg: Marketing, Customer Experience, Legal, Learning Team) in driving the CIBG roadmap and objectives
- Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of CIBG
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a bank, financial services firm or consulting firm
- Educated up to a bachelor’s degree
- Excellent analytical/ problem solving skills & knowledge of functional topics such as Strategy, Operating Model, Market research, Macroeconomics & Management Accounting is required
- Excellent inter-personal, communication, organizational and presentation skills required to interact with and provide intelligence to CIBG leadership for strategic business decisioning
- Ability to transform data into intelligence with experience in designing management reports
- Able to operate in a team environment
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (in particular, advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills is essential)
