Job Description

Role: Corporate Finance and Investment Banking (CFIB) Analyst

Location: Dubai

Role Purpose: This is a key role within the CFIB team focused on originating, structuring, and executing corporate finance transactions with WBG and FI clients. The role involves delivering sharia-compliant financing solutions, working closely with coverage teams, other CFIB teams, and internal stakeholders to support transaction origination, develop strategic relationships, and align solutions with ADIB's risk appetite and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build, review, and assess complex financial models; develop financial forecasts and conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis.
  2. Prepare pitch books and transaction materials, evaluate financial performance, and support negotiations and syndication.
  3. Assess business fundamentals, industry positioning, and growth prospects; identify and address key risks.
  4. Monitor market and economic trends impacting credit quality and business conditions.
  5. Assist senior team members with project management and stakeholder coordination.
  6. Maintain regular updates on deals, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, including Sharia requirements.
  7. Support internal reporting, portfolio monitoring, and ensure audit readiness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency with spreadsheets, BI, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex issues to senior audiences.
  • Attention to detail and accountability.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, advisory, or private equity, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields; professional qualifications like CFA, CA, MBA are advantageous.
