Job summary

Emirates Airlines in Dubai seeks a Senior Technical Software Engineer to design and build secure, scalable AI capabilities across the group. You will work with LLMs, SLMs and open-weight models, integrating them into reusable components and accelerators for portfolio teams.

You will manage AI services on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, ensure guardrails, data protection and observability, and mentor a team of software engineers. This role is based in our cosmopolitan Dubai hub.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience developing AI solutions and integrating with managed AI services.
• Hands-on with AI services on at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design, development and deployment of complex AI solutions.
• Advance AI patterns for production readiness including monitoring and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for architecture decisions.
• Mentor Software Engineers and ensure coding standards.
• Plan estimates, deployment and operations of developed solutions.
