Anson McCade in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. You will work on next-generation AI-powered applications, with a focus on building production-grade LLM-based systems in a hybrid UAE environment.

The role emphasizes designing intelligent workflows, evaluating model performance, and delivering scalable Python-based solutions while collaborating across product and engineering teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building complex LLM-based applications.
• Strong prompt engineering skills with experience designing agentic AI workflows.
• Experience creating evaluation frameworks, benchmarks and custom performance metrics for AI systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with excellent Python development experience.
• Experience building scalable production systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
• Passion for keeping up to date with the latest AI research and emerging technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance production-grade LLM-powered applications.
• Develop prompt architectures and agentic AI workflows.
• Build evaluation frameworks and define meaningful metrics to measure model performance and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions using Python and modern engineering best practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms, services and backend systems.
• Prototype, test and productionise new AI features and model interactions.
• Improve quality, safety and observability through monitoring, testing and guardrails.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and share knowledge with the wider engineering team.
