Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript coding skills with clean, testable code.
• Experience with distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with LLM-based systems, RAG components, tool calling, AI safety features.
• Experience building automated evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic AI.
• Cloud native experience with containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• AI & Agent System Engineering across platforms.
• Orchestration: implement intent classification flows, tool routing, multi-step reasoning.
• Tool Gateway: deterministic validation layer for LLM actions.
• RAG Pipelines: optimize document ingestion, embedding, and vector retrieval.
• Guardrails & Testing: implement Trust Dial and automated agent evaluation tests.
• Cloud-Native Service Development.
• Observability: distributed tracing and structured logging.
• LLM Integration: token budgeting, streaming, model fallback, API error handling.
• Event-Driven Systems: idempotent Kafka producers/consumers with low latency.
