Job summary

Silverback Strategies is a performance marketing agency focused on helping marketers grow. The SEO Lead role drives strategies across 4-6 client accounts, leveraging AI search testing and robust content planning to deliver measurable results.

You will collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams, translating data into actionable briefs and proposals for client success.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of agency experience.
• 5+ years of overall relevant marketing or SEO experience.
• Hands-on AI search testing and optimization experience.
• Proficiency with GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Strong expertise in content strategy and content briefs.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute SEO strategies, innovation, and performance for 4-6 client accounts.
• Implement optimized strategies for Generative AI and LLM search engines.
• Translate complex data from SEO platforms into actionable insights.
• Serve as the primary client point of contact, leading status and reporting calls.
• Build and maintain structured content systems including topic clusters and pillar pages.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with measurement, paid media, and creative teams.
• Support sales efforts by developing SEO strategy proposals and audits.
