Senior Accounts Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA professional with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience to support critical financial operations and strategic projects. This role will focus on treasury management, financial closure, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Treasury Management:
   Oversee day-to-day cash flow, banking activities, and liquidity planning.
   Optimize treasury processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with internal controls.
   Liaise with banks and internal stakeholders for effective treasury operations.
2. Financial Closure & Sign-Off:
   Drive timely resolution of pending financial matters and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closures.
   Support in reviewing and finalizing financial statements for sign-off.
3. Role Transition Support:
   Facilitate a smooth and structured transition of the Senior Accountant role by providing guidance, oversight, and knowledge transfer.
   Ensure continuity of key financial processes during the handover period.
4. Internal Audit Support (UAE Focus):
   Work closely with internal audit teams to address and close out outstanding audit points.
   Implement corrective actions and improvements in financial processes based on audit findings.
5. Ad-Hoc Project Participation:
   Contribute to cross-functional finance projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
   Provide insights and data analysis to support business decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualified.
2. 5–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
3. Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial reporting, and audit procedures.
4. Proven ability to manage complex tasks, meet deadlines, and work across functions.
5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
6. Prior experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
