KPMG in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Finance professional to lead and deliver complex engagements across accounting and financial reporting. You will drive planning, resource allocation, and client interactions, acting as a trusted ambassador for the firm.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of financial accounting experience, strong IFRS/IPSAS knowledge, and the ability to mentor juniors while supporting business development in the MENA market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA/CFA).
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience in a relevant organization.
• Experience in MENA market is highly recommended.
• Strong IFRS and IPSAS knowledge; solid finance controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects or work-streams of small to medium size and complexity.
• Plan and deliver engagements including work plans and timelines.
• Liaise with clients and act as an ambassador for the firm.
• Own deliverables with minimal input from leadership.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals with minimal guidance.
• Develop expertise across clients and markets and build professional networks.
• Identify risks and provide strategic recommendations.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to risk management and business development.
