Job summary

KPMG in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced accounting and advisory professional to lead engagements, manage project workstreams, and deliver high-quality financial reporting for clients across the MENA region.

You will analyze data, draft findings, present to clients, and mentor junior staff while developing deep knowledge of multiple industries and markets. Strong IFRS/IPSAS knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance and a professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA/CFA)
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience in a relevant organization, preferably Big Four
• Experience in the MENA market is highly recommended
• Strong awareness of non-technical accounting matters (corporate finance, ESG, deals, tax, legal)
• Extensive technical accounting experience in IFRS and IPSAS

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects or work-streams of small to medium size and complexity
• Contribute to planning and delivery of engagements including work plans, timelines, project management, and resource allocation
• Liaise with clients and act as an ambassador for KPMG
• Own deliverables with minimal input from project leadership
• Produce reports, presentations and proposals with minimal guidance
• Develop expertise across a variety of clients and markets
• Deliver high-quality engagement outcomes and build client relationships
• Identify risks and opportunities and advise on short- and long-term goals
• Coach and mentor junior team members and support learning
• Contribute to practice and risk management, including thought leadership and business development
