Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at KitchenPark, a dynamic startup that provides innovative kitchen solutions, combining real estate, business consulting, and software. This role will be essential in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate and efficient month-end closings, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate is a Qualified Senior Accountant with 4+ years of experience; proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We seek someone who enjoys challenges, has strong analytical skills, and brings a positive and enthusiastic attitude to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and review the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Perform account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Work across a regional entity with complex accounting treatments in line with IFRS or relevant local GAAP.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting processes to drive operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Work in a highly dynamic and fast-moving environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of Accounting Experience (with previous experience at a management consultancy firm)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in accounting and financial closing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • English (essential) and Arabic (nice to have) language skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Big Four accounting firm (highly preferred).
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software - Workday, Sumup and/or Quickbooks.
