Job summary

Green Metal Industries LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting and strategic financial planning. The role covers GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, budgeting, and IFRS compliance in a heavy manufacturing environment.

You will lead VAT filings, ensure regulatory reporting, oversee cash flow, and collaborate with auditors and tax consultants to maintain financial discipline and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce required.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years in Finance & Accounts, with at least 3 years in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Hands-on VAT filing and budgeting experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and regulatory reporting.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and fixed assets
• Prepare statutory financial statements, MIS reports, and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies
• Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare financial forecasts, and monitor budget utilization across departments
• Perform financial analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis to support management in strategic decision-making
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, process VAT refund claim applications, and ensure compliance with FTA regulations
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions to maintain the company s financial stability
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and statutory compliance
• Support inventory valuation, manufacturing cost control, ERP-based financial reporting, and continuous improvement of internal financial controls
