NewBridge Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai. The role hands-on responsibility for monthly, quarterly and year-end closes, general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

You will prepare journal entries, review financial statements under IFRS, manage intercompany transactions and support statutory reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required with CA/ACCA/CPA/ CMA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of hands-on accounting experience including month-end close, GL and reconciliations.
• Experience dealing with external auditors and handling audit queries to closure.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in a complex multinational environment; pharma/healthcare exposure is a plus.
• SAP experience strongly preferred with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Own monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes and ensure deadlines.
• Manage general ledger areas and maintain accuracy of accounting records and schedules.
• Prepare, review and post journal entries including accruals, provisions and prepayments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and clear reconciling items promptly.
• Review trial balance and key P&L/balance sheet accounts for unusual movements.
• Prepare monthly reporting schedules and explain material movements and non-routine items.
• Support IFRS-based statutory and management reporting and policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR and other stakeholders to ensure complete and timely accounting.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and investigate differences with counterparties.
