Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants seeks a Senior Accountant in the United Arab Emirates for a manufacturing-focused role. You will manage full-cycle accounting, cost control, budgeting, and financial planning, working with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting, solid cost and inventory knowledge, ERP and advanced Excel skills, and VAT/tax compliance experience. A valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with financial analysis and controls. The role plays a key part in cost control, budgeting, and financial planning within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting, including product costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis.
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, overheads, and production variances.
• Work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Implement and maintain cost control procedures to improve profitability.
• Support pricing decisions through detailed cost and margin analysis.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance explanations.
• Prepare financial models and management reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
