Position Outline

GroundTruth is hiring a remote Senior Accountant I based in the United States (Pacific Time Zone). The role centers on managing full-cycle month-end close processes, complex balance sheet reconciliations, multi-entity intercompany consolidations, and US GAAP compliance across global business entities while leveraging automation and AI to streamline financial workflows.

Primary Duties

• Execute advanced month-end close activities, including software capitalization, complex cost allocations, debt, accruals, subsidiary reviews, and global consolidations.
• Author elimination journal entries, manage intercompany settlements, and execute multi-entity reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, perform variance analysis across P&L and balance sheet line items, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee subsidiary accounting close cycles and manage local statutory filing requirements.
• Support gross margin accounting, revenue recognition models, bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and audit preparation.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks to drive process automation, efficiency, and system enhancements.

Applicant Credentials

• Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Work Background: Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience; 2+ years in public accounting/audit is strongly preferred.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of US GAAP, full-cycle accounting, intercompany reporting, advanced MS Excel, and complex dataset management; experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
