Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a sister company of Palazzo Versace Dubai and oversee the financial operations of F&B outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or restaurant finance and will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, cost control, and financial reporting. This position requires both hands-on accounting skills and strategic financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and P&L analysis for the F&B outlet

  • Monitor financial performance and highlight variances to budget/forecast with commentary

  • Monitor and analyze cost of sales, food & beverage costs, labor, and overhead

  • Support inventory management and conduct regular audits of stock, usage, and wastage

  • Collaborate with the procurement and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and margin performance

  • Ensure accurate recording of daily sales, promotions, discounts, and refunds

  • Manage vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Maintain accurate records of tax filings, VAT, and statutory obligations

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts

  • Participate in internal and external audits, implementing any recommended improvements


Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in F&B or hospitality

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and F&B cost control

  • Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and accounting platforms

  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
