Job summary

Client of Expertise Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to maintain and enforce accounting standards, internal controls, and accurate financial processing. You will record journal entries, manage accruals, and support audit coordination in a Dubai-based role.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm, and is proficient in GAAP and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries, accruals, and period-end closings.
• Prepare vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting (P&L, balance sheets).
• Coordinate annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
