Overview
Contractor assessment: This includes liaising with the tendering/contracts team to obtain all necessary financial details of potential contractors for tendering and pre-qualification processes.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in evaluating and assessing the financial health and position of contractors to ensure they meet the company’s standards and requirements.
- Performing financial analysis, including ratio analysis and variance analysis of the financial information. Providing commentary and indications regarding the financial health of the contractors.
- Actualisation of BTS projects: Assisting in filling templates related to CAPEX and collections of projects. Ensuring standardization and accuracy in completing these templates and adhering to the agreed timelines for the actualization exercise.
- Commercial Settlement:
- Ensuring the collection and processing of information from relevant teams, particularly in inter-company or related party transactions and project management fees
- To understand and escalate issues with regards to payments or receipts. Providing business support to ensure that invoices are settled between parties on a timely basis.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and updating the CFO reporting pack on a weekly basis as part of the reporting requirements.
- Inventory reconciliation (Land and BTS portfolio) during integration:
- Inventory reconciliations: Assisting in the reconciliation and performing reconciliations of the company’s land bank and BTS portfolio.
- Title deed verification
- Balance sheet reconciliation review during integration: Should have a thorough understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, including payables, receivables, intercompany transactions, revenue, and unbilled accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Adept knowledge of IFRS, Statutory Reporting, UAE VAT Law, UAE Companies Law.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Able to handle frequent internal/external contacts.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Strong team orientation, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualified/ACCA is a must
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, financial modelling
Experience
- At least 5 years in a senior accountant or similar role.
- Audit firm experience is preferable
- Real estate industry experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle R12/Oracle Fusion and Salesforce ERP systems.
