Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Assistant Senior Accountant to join its Accounting & Finance team. This permanent, full-time role sits inside the Banking / Financial Services / Insurance (BFSI) sector and focuses on robust GL activity and accurate reporting.

You will work with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), manage month-end closings, prepare reconciliations, and support audits while coordinating with AP, AR and tax teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Support audits and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, Tax, and other finance teams.
• Identify process improvements and support junior accounting staff.
