Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and qualified Senior Accountantto join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, supporting financial planning and analysis, and ensuring accurate reporting in line with applicable standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Liason with group finance teams for consoldiation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations
  • Support audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Prepare VAT filings and manage related compliance requirements
  • Assist in the financial evaluation of investment projects and portfolio performance
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal financial controls and processes
Requirements
  • ACCA qualification or equivalent (e.g., CA, CPA) –mandatory
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE tax/VAT regulations, and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must be currentlybased in the UAE and legally eligible to work
Preferred
  • Experience in investment firms, holding companies, or multi-entity environments
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and business analysis
