We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for our UAE-based organization. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, budgeting, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely settlements.

Assist with external audits, VAT filings, and regulatory compliance.

Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

Support cash flow forecasting and financial modeling.

Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.

Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 5 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis capability.
