Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls, preferably within the trading or construction material sectors. This role plays a key part in overseeing the financial health of our operations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise junior finance staff.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, and intercompany transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, credit control, and collections.
• Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems.
• Generate financial reports and performance analyses for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CA is a plus).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience, preferably in trading or construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards (IFRS).
• Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
