Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Professional with ERP implementation expertise to join our team at the Corporate Office in Dubai. This is a dual-role position that will first focus on leading the implementation of the CMiC Accounting module, followed by a transition into an Internal Audit Lead role post go-live.

Experience in the UAE construction or fit-out sector is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities (Pre-Go-Live – ERP Implementation Phase):

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the CMiC Accounting module, ensuring compliance with both statutory and management reporting needs.
• Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all core accounting processes within CMiC.
• Conduct training sessions and hands-on workshops for finance, accounting, and project accounting teams.
• Collaborate with IT, project managers, and external consultants to log, track, and resolve system bugs or enhancement requests.
• Supervise data migration, validate financial transactions, and ensure accuracy in month-end close processes, including inter-company entries.

Key Responsibilities (Post-Go-Live – Internal Audit Phase):

• Take ownership of internal audit functions, designing and executing audit plans focused on system controls, data integrity, and process compliance.
• Conduct regular control assessments and identify process gaps, recommending practical remediation actions.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders to ensure compliance with SOX-style internal controls and local UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Report key audit findings to Finance leadership and monitor the closure of audit issues.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years leading ERP implementations, ideally with CMiC.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, project accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into ERP configurations, SOPs, and internal audit programs.
• Excellent training, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English
• UAE experience in the construction or interior fit-out sector is a strong plus.
