Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis that will drive decision-making within the organization. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with regulations.
3. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and governmental regulations.
4. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting processes.
5. Review and verify entries for financial accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
6. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvements.
7. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and offer strategic guidance.
8. Support the external audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role in the UAE.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards in the UAE.
4. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
