Your new company

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling account reconciliations, managing invoicing processes, and performing hands-on tasks within the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Your new role
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring timely issuance and follow-up on payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform hands-on accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable management, general ledger entries, and bank transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records promptly.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all accounting processes and transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within Dubai or the UAE region.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
