Job description

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  2. ACCA or CMA (fully or partially completed).

Language Skills: Arabic speaking is a must.

Training & Skills: Computer literate, experience with ERP systems (preferably J.D. Edwards), and knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.

Competencies:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong leadership abilities.
  3. Team management skills.
  4. Good command of English.
  5. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  6. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years in accounting and reporting, preferably with international companies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accounting records for invoices, bank transactions, revenues, payments, etc.
  2. Prepare and control reports such as VAT Return, Income Tax Return, Stamp Duty, prepaid tax, and Corporate Tax Return.
  3. Handle payments, reimbursements, and advances with authority from CCE.
  4. Verify costs under authorization and obtain approval.
  5. Monitor prepaid advances, supplier invoices, and ensure timely receipt and account closure.
  6. Perform month-end transactions.
  7. Address additional requests from top management as needed.
