Job summary

Finanshels.com is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support day-to-day finance and accounting activities in the UAE. The role covers bookkeeping, invoicing, AP/AR, reconciliations and timely financial reporting to ensure compliance with UAE requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, strong experience in AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations and month-end closing, plus UAE VAT familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR, invoicing and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and month-end closing.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or similar.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support our day-to-day finance and accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with applicable UAE requirements.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations, bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role will also support month-end closing activities, VAT compliance, and other UAE finance-related requirements while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records.
• Preparing and issuing invoices to clients.
• Tracking payments, outstanding invoices, and receivables.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly financial reports and supporting month-end closing.
