Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, payables/receivables, and month-end closing.
  
• Oversee inventory control, costing, and margin analysis for an e-commerce product line.
  
• Conduct bank reconciliations, especially for online payment gateways, card transactions, and cash on delivery.
  
• Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring strict compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and generate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.).
  
• Provide financial forecasts, budgets, and analysis to support decision-making.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of accounting experience (with at least 3 years in e-commerce or retail).
  
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  
• Adept in handling multi-currency transactions and online payment processes.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
