Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong accounting and operations background to join our growing team in the Trading sector. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands both the financial and operational aspects of a product-driven business and can bridge the gap between finance and day-to-day business activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-spectrum accounting, including AP / AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Lead monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
  • Oversee VAT filings, compliance, and reconciliation in accordance with the region's regulations.
  • Utilize Tally ERP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D-365) for daily transaction processing and reporting.
  • Monitor and control inventory costing, stock movements, and COGS analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.
  • Conduct process audits, implement internal controls, and suggest operational improvements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and performance tracking reports.
  • Support external and internal audit processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / CA / ACCA preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience in Trading / Manufacturing within the country.
  • Strong understanding of inventory, logistics, and supply chain finance.
  • Industry experience: Trading
  • Solid experience with VAT and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D-365).
  • Strong command of Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
