Job description

Our client, a European software solution provider is looking to recruit a young and dynamic Senior Accountant for their Dubai operations.

You would have to be immediately available.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Middle East and Asia and to the Regional CFO based in Europe, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of the accounting for Dubai entity.

Systems & Procedures: deal with project managers to update status of their projects into our internal system and make sure that all our internal rules are followed;

Prepare all the documentation and data to be sent to the accounting companies in Singapore and Hong Kong for the preparation of the monthly financial statements;

Accounts Receivable: preparing client invoices, recording all accounting entries and following up on outstanding receivables;

Monthly Revenue Calculation;

Management of Accounts payable;

Management of the payroll and staff benefits;

Review and processing of employees expenses;

Cash management: processing of suppliers’ invoices payment; preparation of weekly cash flows reports for the managing director; reconciliation of bank accounts and petty cash.

General Ledger: reconciliation and analysis of balance sheets accounts with particular attention to the Intercompany accounts;

Monthly preparation of cut-off for Dubai’s entity;

Monthly preparation of the management reporting for Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore entities to be sent to the HQ. e.g. P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statement, Consolidation pack;

Auditing: Analyze previous & future figures, Liaise with internal and external auditors

Can work independently & can full responsibility for the accounts

Able to work in an ever-changing, flexible work environment

Ability to work under pressure
