Role Overview

The CSG Senior Account Partner (Snr. AP) is a passionate and strategic sales leader responsible for selling the full portfolio of Success Cloud offerings to designated accounts. The role requires a strategic problem solver with enterprise, commercial, and cross-functional skills, high energy, and strong sales management experience. The Snr. AP aims to become a trusted advisor to customers, helping them derive significant business value from their Salesforce investments. This involves understanding customer lifecycle needs, driving adoption, pipeline development, and delivering sales presentations to C-level clients. Success in this role is measured by year-over-year growth in services bookings and revenue.

Responsibilities
  1. Exceed Success Cloud growth and bookings targets, ensuring organizational health and customer satisfaction as a regional leader.
  2. Understand customer motivations, business drivers, strategic goals, and desired outcomes using industry expertise and business sense.
  3. Engage C-Level executives with a consultative approach, positioning Salesforce as a long-term trusted partner.
  4. Communicate a compelling vision of our transformative solutions to generate business value from the Salesforce platform.
  5. Develop territory and account plans aligned with customer goals, forecast accurately, build pipelines, and drive revenue growth.
  6. Collaborate with License Sales and regional Partner organizations to ensure success.
  7. Model collaboration, leadership, and strong business results.
As a Snr. Account Partner, you will
  • Be recognized as a business contributor and industry or product specialist.
  • Maintain high knowledge of emerging industry trends and product directions.
  • Determine the best customer success strategies based on senior management guidance.
  • Handle complex business issues requiring industry or business expertise.
  • Act as an advisor on complex initiatives, exercising discretion, leading cross-functional teams, and mentoring others.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
  • 8+ years of consultative sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding quotas.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling or delivering professional services for a strategic consulting firm or large-scale system integrator.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain C-level relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience in growing large, complex accounts ($M+ pursuits).
  • Highly collaborative, excels in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
