What you’ll do:

We are looking for a driven Senior AccountDirector to assist inbuilding and leading a team in our UAE location servicing a dedicated local market client (Japan Tobacco International).

You will work alongside our Client Partner, the digital SMEs and their delivery team for a range of digital and marketing services including: CRO, SEO, eCRM.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of propositions
  • Take a lead in establishing and nurturing strategic client relationships/engagement across all their brands/market
  • Ensure sound financial management and profitability of the assigned account
  • Ensure reliability of the forecasting process, taking full ownership of the financial process and promoting accountability within the team
  • Support the Client Partner’s and Chief Client Officer in the yearly budgeting process
  • Be accountable for your teams accuracy, quality, timeliness and profitability of multiple campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for growth

What you'll bring:

  • Significant background in Account Management, ideally coming with a Group Account / Associate Director background, and/or Account Management teams leadership experience, in an agency environment
  • Demonstrated high level of exposure to multisector and international environments and ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders of all sorts of cultures and backgrounds
  • Impeccable knowledge of digital marketing and the key digital channels and their challenges e.g. CRO, SEO,eCRM, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager and digital content.
  • Good knowledge of digital analytics and associated tools
  • A firm understanding of ecommerce and the challenges particular to online retail
  • Full understanding of entire end-to-end digital marketing process from client strategic requirement to delivery cross-channels
  • Fluency in English andArabic
  • A foundational understanding of key concepts, statistics, machine learning, databases, APIs
  • Experience within the FMCG/Tobacco or other regulated industries is preferred

Role Requirements:

The Senior AccountDirector will be expected to spend a significant amount of their time on client interactions, with a preference to have them face to face, meaning that travel could be expected within the regional scope. Attendance to internal business meetings may result as well in travelling internationally.
