Job summary

iMaker Group in Dubai is seeking a Senior 3D Modeler to develop high-quality 3D models and interior visualizations for luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. The role transforms concepts into presentation-ready models under the Design Head’s guidance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in luxury interiors, strong SketchUp and AutoCAD skills, and experience with GCC markets. Office-based in Dubai with opportunities on international projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a 3D Modeler, Spatial Visualizer or Interior Designer in luxury spaces.
• Experience delivering GCC projects is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop 3D models of luxury spaces using SketchUp, studying materiality and design details.
• Translate sketches, CAD drawings, and briefs into presentation-ready 3D models.
• Refine interior layouts, space planning, material palettes, and furniture arrangements.
• Develop realistic materials, lighting studies, and spatial compositions for luxury aesthetics.
• Collaborate with the Design Head on space planning, layout optimization, and color coordination.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and client proposals.

Summary of the role:

The Senior 3D Modeler is responsible for developing high-quality 3D models and interior design visualizations for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The role transforms conceptual designs into accurate, presentation‑ready models while ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy. The position works closely with the Design Head and project teams throughout the design development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and develop 3D models of luxury spaces using SketchUp Software, while studying materiality, spatial quality, details, and overall design of projects from sketches and CAD files.
• Translate conceptual sketches, CAD drawings, and design briefs into high-quality, presentation‑ready 3D models.
• Develop and refine interior layouts, space planning, material palettes, furniture arrangements, and design details while maintaining the overall design intent.
• Develop realistic materials, lighting studies, and spatial compositions that accurately communicate the intended design and luxury aesthetic.
• Confer directly with the Design Head on essential interior design factors including space planning, layout optimization, utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination.
• Confer with Design teams to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and room function.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and client proposals.
• Provide input and feedback on design concepts and ideas.
• Support junior team members as needed, and contributing to the overall success of the design department.
• Observe management’s instructions closely, maintaining a high level of flexibility, teamwork, and cross‑functional support.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing timeline and company resources effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed within project deadlines and budget constraints.
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Communicate effectively across the team to ensure project goals are met.
• Stay informed on the latest trends, materials and technology in the industry to keep our projects at the forefront of innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture or related course
• Proven 8+ years of experience working as a 3D Modeler, Spatial Visualizer, or Interior Designer with a focus on luxury residential or commercial spaces.
• Previous experience delivering projects within the GCC is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Advance Proficiency in Sketchup and AutoCAD Software.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• In‑depth knowledge of furniture systems, materials, finishes, and lighting design.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, rendering workflows, and architectural visualization techniques.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic space planning, interior detailing, ergonomics, and luxury design principles.
• Ability to produce presentation‑quality renderings and client‑ready visuals.
• Ability to develop, communicate, and present design concepts effectively.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, construction drawings, and shop drawings accurately.
• Ability to work in a team environment with good collaboration skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong multitasking abilities, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Working conditions and Environment:

• The position is an office based in Dubai, UAE.
