John Wood Group PLC is seeking specialists to implement and administer advanced 3D design systems and coordinate digital workflows across ADNOC-aligned projects. The role covers setup, access control, performance monitoring and interoperability with other engineering tools.
You will manage federated 3D models, ensure data integrity, run clash detection and support design reviews with EPC contractors, delivering robust 3D deliverables and handovers.
* Configure, administer, and maintain 3D design systems (e.g., AVEVA E3D/PDMS, Hexagon Smart 3D, Navisworks).
* Ensure proper setup of project environments, databases, user access, and permissions.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with software vendors for resolutions.
* Support the integration of 3D tools with other engineering systems (e.g., document management systems, data platforms).
* Enable interoperability between different contractor systems and formats.
* Promote digital workflows aligned with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
* Manage and maintain the federated 3D model across all disciplines and contractors.
* Ensure model integrity, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
* Coordinate model exchanges and ensure timely updates from EPC contractors.
* Perform and manage clash detection using tools such as Navisworks or equivalent.
* Facilitate model review sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
* Track, report, and ensure closure of clashes and design issues.
* Develop and enforce 3D modeling standards, procedures, and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with ADNOC digital engineering and CAD standards.
* Provide guidance to EPC contractors on modeling requirements and deliverables.
* Provide training and technical support to project teams on 3D applications.
* Develop user guides and best practice documentation.
* Act as the focal point for all 3D system-related queries.
* Support engineering, construction, and commissioning teams with 3D model usage.
* Enable visualization, constructability reviews, and simulation activities.
* Assist in generating 3D deliverables such as walkthroughs, renders, and presentations.
* Ensure proper management of 3D data, including backups, version control, and archiving.
* Support digital handover requirements to ADNOC, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Coordinate with information management teams for data governance.
* Track KPIs related to model quality, clash resolution, and system performance.
* Provide regular reports to PMC management and ADNOC stakeholders.
* Highlight risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
* Ensure all digital engineering activities align with ADNOC HSE and QA/QC requirements.
* Support safe design practices through effective use of 3D modeling tools.
