Job summary

An established industry player is seeking qualified and enthusiastic SEN teachers to join their team. This role involves ensuring the objectives of the Inclusion policy are met, assessing students' needs, and adapting curricula accordingly. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, along with a B.Ed and relevant teaching experience. You will be responsible for creating Individual Education Plans, mentoring support staff, and collaborating with parents and educators to enhance student learning. Job description

We are immediately hiring well-experienced, qualified, and enthusiastic SEN teachers to join our team immediately. Candidates having Bachelors/Masters in Special Education with B.Ed and relevant teaching experience may please apply with your detailed resume.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring that the objectives of the Inclusion policy framework are reflected across all phases of the school.
  2. Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans.
  3. Adaptation of the curriculum and its assessment to meet individual student needs.
  4. Recording of learning data related to SoD students and monitoring progress.
  5. Creating Individual Education Plans or Behaviour Plans by liaising with the SLT, School Counselor, Class Teacher, and Parents.
  6. Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress.
  7. Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities.
  8. Discuss student’s progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
  9. Mentor LSA's who work with students with special needs.
  10. Previous experience of working in an inclusive school is preferred.
