Job summary

Asian College Of Teachers is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students with additional educational needs in Abu Dhabi. You will develop IEPs, monitor progress, and provide targeted support to enhance academic and life skills.

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that address the individual learning needs of students with additional educational needs.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and relevant specialists.
• Monitor students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural progress and maintain accurate records.
• Provide individual and small-group support to help students develop their academic and life skills.
• Adapt teaching strategies, learning materials, and classroom activities according to students' abilities and needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and school leadership to ensure appropriate support and accommodations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding students' progress and development.
• Collaborate with counsellors, therapists, and other specialists where required.
• Participate in meetings, professional development programmes, and school activities.
