Job summary

Southern Sun UAE is seeking a dedicated Hotel Security Supervisor to lead security operations, protect guests and staff, and ensure safe property conditions. The role involves monitoring CCTV, managing access controls, handling emergencies, and coordinating with Police and Civil Defence as needed.

The candidate will prepare clear reports, maintain security action plans, and train staff on security awareness and procedures, upholding confidentiality and professionalism under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel security supervision or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms and incident reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, report-writing, and leadership skills.
• Ability to liaise with authorities (Police, Civil Defence) as needed.
• Ability to train staff on security procedures.

• Lead hotel security operations, ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, property, and premises.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with hotel policies, UAE health & safety requirements, and ADOSH standards.
• Monitor and operate CCTV, access control, alarm, key management, and other security systems; conduct regular patrols.
• Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, manage challenging situations, and liaise confidently with Police, CID, Civil Defence, and other authorities.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily, incident, and investigation reports and maintain effective security action plans.
• Conduct staff training on security awareness, emergency procedures, fire & life safety, incident reporting, and hotel security procedures.
• Handle guest queries and security concerns professionally, discreetly, promptly, and with a positive approach.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, professionalism, teamwork, and service while working effectively under pressure or independently.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, decision-making, report-writing, and computer skills, including email, digital reporting, and hotel systems.
• Possess previous hotel security supervisory experience and strong knowledge of security technology, health & safety, emergency response, and compliance.
