Job summary

Technip Energies in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Security Officer to protect premises, people and assets. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role involves patrolling, controlling access, monitoring CCTV and responding to emergencies.

You will work shift-based across indoor/outdoor sites, with responsibilities including incident reports, logging, and liaising with emergency services; prior security experience and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
• Good communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain security and detect suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits and access points to control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and materials.
• Check identification, verify authorizations, and ensure only permitted persons enter restricted areas.
• Observe CCTV and security systems, and report alarms, breaches, or unusual behavior.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in a calm and professional manner.
• Prepare daily security logs, incident reports, and handover notes.
• Report theft, vandalism, trespassing, safety hazards, and policy violations immediately.
• Assist emergency services when required and follow company emergency procedures.
• Ensure doors, gates, windows, and sensitive areas are secured during and after shifts.
• Support loss prevention and safety compliance across the premises.
