As Security Manager, I will support and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Security Department to provide exceptional services within the Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Provide wide leadership and direction in all areas of security, loss control, security best practices, and security programs including strategic planning.
• Provide guidance regarding "best practice" business security standards, solutions, and guidance to maintain a secure environment for the protection of hosts, guests, property, and information.
• Monitor security conditions and conduct ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources and advise on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with all departments and external groups to effectively resolve security-related issues.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and other issuers of security requirements.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Oversee and provide direction for major security-related projects and physical security technologies including but not limited to card key access systems, alarm systems, video surveillance systems, security services, data security systems, and related systems.
• Inspect and secure the resort’s guest areas, public areas, and heart-of-the-house areas regularly and ensure security and safety improvements are actioned within the designated time frame.
• Develop and implement a security training strategy for the property and ensure its effective execution.
• Operate the property in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communication standards, product and service standards, host management practices, and budgetary controls to ensure successful hotel operation.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Security Manager, the candidate must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including:

• Possess a high school diploma or related vocational training, plus one year of security and safety experience, including supervisory/training experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and more than five years’ experience in a similar security role are preferred.
• FSLD License
• Security Guard License
• Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred as an additional language.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Dubai as Security Manager.
• Familiarity with local governance and requirements.
